Pro-life activists are shaking up the predominantly black areas of Atlanta, highlighting the high number of abortions being sought by black women. It even caught the attention of ABC News.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) reavealed that nearly two-thirds of the over 35,000 abortions committed in Georgia last year were for black women (over 20, 000).
And, while some in Atlanta called the billboards “racist”, they neglect to see that the campaign was funded and carried out entirely by the black pro-life group Too Many Aborted.
What is most interesting to me, is that the activists with Too Many Aborted are simply pointing out that Margaret Sanger meant what she said. Sanger always intended for abortion to be used as a means of weeding out the “undesirables” of a culture, of eliminating poverty and minorities by eliminating their babies.
Sanger was a blatant racist and she never tried to hide it. Unfortunately, her followers do. I, for one, applaud the folks at Too Many Aborted for pointing out the truth behind Planned Parenthood and the abortion movement in America.
Sanger herself said, “Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives” (Women and the New Race, ch. 18).
